With its factory-accurate appearance, the block is a true drop-in replacement for the OEM unit. Machined from high-quality American 6061-T6 aluminum, it provides significantly greater strength and durability than the original cast block. Maintaining line bore stability under elevated engine temperatures is critical, which is why the block utilizes steel main caps rather than aluminum. The 4140 chromoly main caps reduce line bore growth by up to 50% from ambient to operating temperatures, ensuring consistent bearing alignment under load.

For optimal cooling and cylinder strength, Darton ductile iron MID sleeves were selected. Designed specifically for this application, the sleeves offer excellent heat transfer and are fully replaceable in the event of engine damage, extending the service life of the block.
